Imaginatively landscaped, the campsite sits within 63 acres of National Trust woodland with pitches set in open glades. It provides a scenic, peaceful base for a family holiday, complete with an on-site mini adventure playground. Nearby activities include cycling, rock climbing, and guided pony treks across the fells.
A short walk from the site's lower exit leads directly to Coniston Water, a prime launching point for dinghy sailing, windsurfing, and canoeing. Just 1.5 miles away, Coniston Pier offers steamboat rides on the Coniston Gondola alongside boat hire, while great local pubs and cafes await in the village a mile down the road.
