Arrival Companion is a great new service we are trialling at this campsite. It provides a central place to update your vehicle registration and to check your payment status, ensuring a fast seamless entry to the campsite. As well as a handy site information guide, a live site map that can be used to help find an empty pitch on the day of arrival and can be used to message the site team during your stay.

Five days before arrival you will receive a text message inviting you to visit the Arrival Companion. The link is unique to you and will require you to validate your phone number, and we will send you a magic link enabling you to access information for your arrival at the campsite. The site is undergoing a full redevelopment. It is now scheduled to fully reopen with a new facilities block and other improvements on 1 June 2026.

The site will partially reopen as a non facility/service point only, which includes an ELSAN point, between 1 April - 31 May and we will apply a 20% discount to your existing booking to reflect the lack of facilities. As you have a booking while the campsite will be operating as a service point only site, please ensure you have your own full on-board facilities. The annual New Forest and Hampshire County Show will be taking place on the 28, 29 and 30 July. For tickets and show information please click here. This event will increase traffic volumes on route and along Aldridge Hill (the access road to the campsite) which is narrow with limited passing places. To avoid peak traffic periods of oncoming vehicles, please avoid arriving between 4-6 pm, and for departures we suggest leaving site between 10am - 12 noon.

Bridport Bingham Grange Club Campsite is undergoing a full redevelopment. The pitches on the upper (eastern) part of the campsite, including the new licensed cafe and facilities block, will be fully open from 03 July 2026.

While our first 50 pitches and new facilities open in July, please note that redevelopment will be ongoing as we complete the lower section of the campsite. If you stay with us during this time, you may experience some noise or disruption as we complete the final stages of the project. We are doing our best to keep any impact to a minimum and appreciate your patience while we finish this exciting transformation.

During quieter occupancy periods, and in order to be as efficient as possible from a financial and sustainability perspective, please be advised that the small facility block within the 'Goods Shed' on site may not be in use. Circus Funtasia will be in Burrs Country Park from 10-14 June. There may be some noise whilst setting up and taking down the tent and also during the shows. There will be more traffic on Woodhill Road leading up to the site.

The annual Wychwood Festival is being held at Cheltenham Racecourse on 29-31 May. This is a family fun festival but tickets sell fast so, if you would like to purchase tickets please click here for more information. Please note, due to the nature of this outdoor event there will be a level of noise that may be heard into late evening and there may be additional traffic in the area.

A weekend of fun starts with 'This Ain't Texas' on 10 July - Country music, line dancing, street food and bars delivering entertainment into the evening. Waking up on 11 July and it's the SkyGlow Music Festival. A vibrant, family-friendly outdoor event with live music, hot air balloons and a full day of entertainment. To bring the weekend to a close, 12 July brings you FamFest, a high-energy family festival with a vibrant festival atmosphere filled with live entertainment, interactive zones and activities. To enhance your future visits to this site, pitch refurbishment works will commence from 2 March for around 13-weeks. Construction noise will be heard during working hours but the works will be carried out in phased sections across the site to minimise disruption where possible.

The nearest petrol station to the site is "Gulf Lix Toll Fuel Express" but has no petrol or diesel available until further notice. Alternative fuel stations are located in Callander (24 miles from site), Aberfeldy (21 miles from site), and Tyndrum (20 miles from site).

The Trance in the Park music event will be taking place at Thoresby Park 29 and 30 May. The venue is approximately 4 miles from this site and there may be noise heard until about 11pm each evening.

Park Gate, the access road to the site, will be closed nightly for resurfacing from 1–7 June, between 6:00pm and 5:00am.

An expected failure has occurred to the TV booster system which has ceased operating across the majority of the site. Engineers have been called to investigate and assess the fault. As the signal reception is poor in this location you may not receive all the main channels through your outfit aerial.

During quieter occupancy periods, and in order to be as efficient as possible from a financial and sustainability perspective, please be advised that the shower block located near reception and the toilet facilities near 'Hinds Pasture' may not be in use. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however the remaining shower and toilet blocks will be available with respective full facilities.

The playground is currently closed awaiting essential repairs.

The Fairy Garden has been under re-generation and is almost complete.

There is currently a road closure in place at Quality Street/Davidson Mains. This is expected to be in place until late June 2026. We suggest an alternative route is sought until works are completed.

A diversion route will be in place from 30 March to the end of May for essential Gas works.

• At J42 off M6 take B6263 twrds Cumwhinton and Wetheral, after 1.2m turn right, signposted Stripes, Cotehill, Armathwaite.
• In 1.9m at crossroads in Cotehill turn left signposted Wetheral.
• In 1m turn right signposted Armathwaite.
• The site is on the right in 1/4 mile.
• Please proceed with caution as part of this route is single track with a section in Cotehill that is only 3 metres wide.

If you are due to arrive on a Sunday, please be aware that the Racecourse holds a car boot sale on Sundays at 1pm. Arrival after this time is advised as there are often queues on the A38.

The late night arrival area is grass with no electricity and only available in an emergency. Please call the site before using as this is not available in heavy rain, icy or snowy conditions.

Due to work being carried out on upgrades to the Wi-Fi system at this site there is currently no Wi-Fi available to members.

Starting on 13 April 2026, urgent repairs to the Haylands Retaining Wall and Yore Bridge will require full road closure. Access to the site is possible if you come through Hawes, do not attempt to come through Hardraw. These works affect Brunt Acres Road and the Aysgarth area, though pedestrian access will be maintained at Yore Bridge throughout the duration. Simultaneously, the B6255 between Hawes and Ribblehead will undergo a complete 24/7 closure, with sporadic disruptions also expected on the A684 near Buttersett. Please plan your journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel while these essential structural repairs are completed.

On Sunday 21 June the Cragg Challenge (local community event) is taking place and the road directly from the site will be closed to vehicles from early morning until 12 noon. Please do not arrive before 1pm as Members may still be departing from the site.

The Henley Royal Regatta takes place over six days running from Tuesday 30 June to Sunday 5 July. Henley will be extremely busy during these dates and you are advised to avoid Henley town centre and use the A4155 exit to Marlow from the A404. Please observe the 6ft 6" width restriction on Marlow Bridge via Marlow road which is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes.

Henley Festival takes place over 5 days running from Wednesday 8 July to Sunday 12 July. There will be a firework display each evening after the final performance around 10pm.

The pool at this site will open from 29 June 2026 until 13 September 2026. A lifeguard will be on duty when the pool is open.

Due to the close proximity of the river there is a possibility that the site may flood during periods of heavy and persistent rain. SSEN have confirmed a mandatory powercut to the campsite and surrounding areas on Tues 30 June to enable tree trimming to protect the powerlines in this location. The power will be off between 9am-4pm although the supply may be restored earlier if the tree works are completed ahead of schedule.

The pool at this site will open during the last week in May and remain open until mid-September, weather and lifeguard availability dependent.

Motorhomes (MH) – small to medium size:

Caravans and large MH’s

Towing a caravan or large MH you will need a coach parking bay. Locations offering coach bays are conveniently near the Ports of:

• River Road car park - Yarmouth Port
• Key Road car park – Ryde Port
• Coppins Bridge car park in Newport – for Cowes and Fishbourne ports

IoW Council recommends PayByPhone App (https://park.paybyphone.com/isleofwight/) to pay for standard/coach parking or call 01983 495003 to book 2-bays if required. For more information, call IoW Council on 01983 823714. The ferry ports on the Isle of Wight are approximately 20-30 minute's drive to Southland Club Campsite.

Please follow signs to Whitesands Beach and Lleithyr Meadow. Do not follow signs for Lleithyr Farm as the Sat Nav suggests.

The A379 coastal road is severely damaged and closed in parts if travelling from Dartmouth. Motorists are advised to follow official diversions in place which involve travelling inland via A381 and A312. Only use the recommended directions on the Club web page from Kingsbridge and not Sat Nav, due to unsuitable roads for towing.

This campsite has electric Smart Metering, which means electricity is excluded from the cost of your pitch. On Saturday 27 June, there will be road closures throughout the town centre and southern entry into Stonehaven from 8.00am for a local event. This should not affect arrivals but we would advise entry from the North side of Stonehaven via A90. Parking around the town will be at a premium, please plan your journey to arrive after 1pm.

Due to a Car Show taking place at the nearby Mineralwell Park on Sunday 28 June, the roads around Stonehaven will be busier than usual and parking around the town will be at a premium, please plan your journey to arrive after 1pm.

Disco: Every Wednesday from 8 July until 12 August from 10pm to midnight, Stonehaven Open Air Swimming pool will be holding Moonlight Swims. Music will be heard on site during this time.

Roadworks are taking place on the A382 until approximately September 2027. The roadwork signage advises that the A382 is closed but you can still access the site entrance via the A382 as the road closure is further down the road towards Newton Abbot.

The annual Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is on 11-12 July and is the largest free medieval re-enactment and fayre in Europe. During this event, please be aware of traffic and pedestrian volumes which will be higher than normal. The annual Tewkesbury Live Music Festival is being held on 24-26 July. Pubs and venues around town will host live music over the weekend and it's all free entry. This is a popular event so an increase in pedestrian and vehicle traffic can be expected.

Please note: this Club campsite is situated near the River Severn and the River Swilgate tributary. Following periods of prolonged and heavy rainfall, river levels may rise causing the tributary to occasionally breach. The access road to site can then become inaccessible and the site might be affected by flooding during these events. To check river levels please see River Severn at Mythe Bridge and for the most up to date information on site status in wet weather, please call the site team on 01684 294035.

The Sandringham Estate will be closed to general visitors from 20 - 23 August for Heritage Live’s concert series. This includes the Visitor Centre car parks, Courtyard facilities (including the café and restaurant), and the play area near Sandringham House. There may be traffic delays, road closures and diversions during this period. Please see The Sandringham Estate website for further details.

Notice to dog owners: Incidents of dogs falling ill following a visit to the woodland on the Sandringham Estate can be reported between the months of August and November. This is not specific to the Club site but dog owners should be aware and take precautions when visiting the woodland area around the site. The festival starts with a traditional food offering to Buddhist monks and entertainment throughout the day including traditional music and dancing, Muay Thai boxing, Ladyboy show, Thai beer garden, Thai food and produce stalls, Thai massage and children's play area. The annual Boomtown Music Festival will be held in the Matterley Estate on 12-16 August. This festival features an eclectic array of music genres and is for adults over the age of 18. This festival attracts a large audience so please be aware of higher traffic volumes than normal in this area. You may also hear the festival at times from site. The County Council are now enforcing No Parking on Station Road outside our site. Please do not arrive and park outside the site before 1pm as you may be issued a parking ticket.

This campsite has electric Smart Metering, which means electricity is excluded from the cost of your pitch. Please ignore the road closure signs when turning into Tilehouse Lane, this closure is beyond the site entrance.

To ensure the safety and security of all our guests and site team, we ask all guests wishing to pay with cash, to provide identification. Accepted forms of photo ID are a photo driving licence, ID card or passport. Alternatively a utility bill or bank statement with current address.

21 June - Due to a 10k Fun Run the road to the site will be closed from 8:30 to 12:00. 
2 August due to a 10k run the road to the site will be closed from 9:30 to 12:30.
On both occasions please ensure all arrivals and departures are scheduled outside of these times.

Please note: this Club campsite is situated within York Flood Defense boundaries. If river levels rise, the Environmental Agency close the flood barriers to protect local housing. When the Environmental Agency take the decision to activate the defense it is often at short notice and York Rowntree site has to be evacuated. The access road to the site is inaccessible and the site is also likely to be affected by flooding during these events. Before you travel, please call the site on 01904 658997 selecting the Flood Advice prompt 1.
