Who took part?
In 2026, 73 of our UK Club campsites and Head Office, that were already Gold, were assessed again. The rest of the UK Club campsite network will be assessed in 2027.
Bridport Bingham Grange was closed for redevelopment and will complete their submission in 2027.
What did we achieve?
Green Tourism awarded all 73 UK Club campsites and Head Office a Gold accreditation. This means that all UK Club campsites and our Head Office have retained their Gold accreditations. The Club’s Head Office also achieved its highest-ever Green Tourism assessment score of 88%.
Key pillars
Green Tourism's key pillars of People, Places and Planet align with the primary intent of sustainable tourism, which takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.
Through their assessment of our UK Club campsite network and Head Office, they collated examples of sustainable achievements in each of the key pillars, goals and questions.
