This small, simple site is owned by an enthusiastic and friendly young couple, Jeanne and Romain, who are keen to make every guest's time with them as enjoyable as possible. They are investing in the campsite and introducing their own style, featuring an old school bus that serves as the reception area and a large, fenced dog exercise park for those travelling with their furry companions. The nearby lake area and protected natural park offer excellent walking paths and birdwatching opportunities, providing the perfect stopover for those travelling with dogs.

It is worth noting that the facilities are unisex, though this is only during the low season. While they are dated, they are clean and in good working order. On-site, you can enjoy a game of boules, and there is a dedicated play area and table tennis for the children.

The charming medieval town of La Ferté-Bernard is within easy walking distance of the site. Here, you can take an electric boat trip through the scenic canals, which have earned the town the nickname "Venice of the West," or enjoy a coffee or a meal in one of the many cafes and restaurants. It is a delightful small town full of historic architecture and well worth a visit whether you are travelling south or on your way home.
