Day 1 - Arrive at Camping Les Genêts

Meet your fellow members at the welcome meeting followed by a meal at the campsite’s restaurant.

Day 2 – Trip to Bozouls and micro-brewery tour

Today, visit the picturesque town of Bozouls, situated on the edge of a canyon-like gorge. Take in the stunning views and go down through the gorge on the little tourist train, with guided commentary in English. After lunch, which is included on this trip, enjoy an afternoon visiting the ‘Bibemus’ micro-brewery in Gabriac.

Day 3 - Free day

Enjoy time at your own leisure today.

Day 4 - Day trip to the Roquefort Cheese Caves and Domaine Bias

Head out on a guided visit to the famous cheese caves today, where thousands of cheeses are aged so that they can bear the name Roquefort. Your tour will be followed by a cheese tasting session. After lunch in the Roquefort restaurant, you will visit the Domaine Bias wine cellars for a tour and wine tasting.

Day 5 – Free day

A day to enjoy at your own pace.

Day 6 – Viaduc de Millau

In the morning, enjoy a guided visit of the Viaduc de Millau - Europe’s tallest bridge. Enjoy the spectacular views over Millau and the surrounding landscape. After lunch, enjoy free time in Millau at your leisure.

Day 7 – Free day

Start your day with breakfast at the campsite and why not join in the ‘Pétanque’ tournament organised on site?

Day 8 – Villefranche de Rouergue 

You’ll take a coach excursion today to the beautiful medieval town of Villefranche de Rouergue. In the morning, immerse your senses in the sights and delightful smells of the Aveyron at the market. After free time for lunch,  enjoy a guided tour of the 17th Century ‘Penitents noir’ chapel and its impressive Baroque art pieces and interiors. These include a gilded altarpiece and six large paintings depicting various scenes from the life of Christ.

Day 9 – Free day

Spend today at leisure.

Day 10 – La Couvertoirade and Vélorail

Today visit the fascinating and stunning fortified village of La Couvertoirade. This well-preserved village was owned by the Knights Templar in the 12th Century. Take in its history through its cobbled, medieval streets and picturesque stone buildings. 

Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch before partaking in an active afternoon of ‘Velorail’- cycling over the railway!

Day 11 – Free day

Spend some time relaxing or exploring at leisure today.

Day 12 – Peyrebrune Tower and Héron des Raspes

Start the day with a guided tour of the beautiful tower of Peyrebrune. This 1000yr old tower dominates the Alrance Valley. From the top, enjoy the panoramic views, which stretch all the way to the Pyrenees!

In the afternoon enjoy a relaxing boat trip through a protected area of natural beauty on the Tarn river.

Day 13 – Free day

Spend today at your own leisure.

Day 14 – Albi

Delight in a full-day excursion to the historic city of Albi today. In the morning, you will have a guided tour of the Cathédral Sainte-Cécile, around which the city was built. 

After free time for lunch, the rest of the afternoon will be spent exploring Albi at your leisure.

Day 15 – Free day

You might like to take advantage of the sandy beach on the campsite’s lakefront to relax after your previous day’s activities.

Day 16 – Bournazel and Conques Abbey

Today, enjoy a guided visit to Conques Abbey, home to the contemporary stained glass windows created by Pierre Soulages, a renowned French artist and sculptor. In the afternoon discover the Château of Bournazel. Lunch is included on this trip.

Day 17 – Free day and farewell meal

Spend the day at your leisure. End the day with a farewell meal and traditional dancing this evening.
