Welcome to Plas Y Wern Holiday
I’ve been working in customer service for nearly 30 odd years, showing my age now lol. I’m now using my skills to run a holiday let business. My partner, parents and I have sold everything including a church we converted to purchase this gorgeous property, with amazing views, and we want to share this glorious place with our guest.
There is use of 7 acres, with paths cut around wildflower fields. The location is peaceful with dark skies to ensure a restful night in which to enjoy local attractions. An enclosed dog walking field for our guest to use ensuring your four-legged companion is well catered for.
We offer 5 spacious Caravan and Motorhome club exclusive hardstanding pitches, each equipped with electricity, making them ideal for camping and motorhome stays. Guests can enjoy stunning views across the surrounding landscape, with fresh water points conveniently located nearby. Wi-Fi is included in the site fee, ensuring you can stay connected throughout your visit.
On-site facilities include a relaxing hot bath located in the field, perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. There is also a clean and spacious combined toilet and shower room, thoughtfully equipped with a chair and table for your personal items.
For added convenience, we provide washing-up facilities as well as grey waste disposal point, making your stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible.
Our priority is offering affordable accommodation/pitches where I do not increase the rates at peak times, in a fantastic location to likeminded nice people.
Our closest beach is Penbryn where there is a stunning tearoom and is a dog friendly beach all year. Tresaith is 5 mins in the car or 20–30 minutes walk depending on how fit you are. It’s a blue Flag beach with a stunning waterfall with the addition of the Ship Inn, great for a night off cooking.
We also have New Quay harbour a bustling resort, where you can catch a boat ride 20 mins north. The stone pier, built almost 200 years ago, is one of the best places to spot the Bottlenose Dolphins for which Cardigan Bay is renowned.
Aberaeron another colourful seaside harbour 25 mins north, with beautiful independent shops, excellent restaurants, coffee shops and fine delicatessens a foodie’s destination.
If you drive south there is Cardigan town (15 minutes) which has independent shops, a castle and a river lovely to sit by and look out with a refreshment. Llangrannog, Mwnt and Aberporth all are beautiful and also close to us. Basically, you're spoilt for choice in this location.
Don't forget to like or follow us on Facebook so you can see updates and any availability. I really look forward to providing a very Welsh warm welcome.
