Why stay here ...
Our CL is set on a 35-acre hill farm in the beautiful Derwent Valley, a part of the Derwent Valley Mills world heritage site. We are a tranquil relaxing location surrounded by magnificent countryside. All our pitches are virtually level and individual with shrubs and planted banks separating each. Each pitch has all weather surfacing with gravel; we are open from 1 st March until 30th November. The site is on the door step to the most popular attractions found in the peak district.
Dogs are always welcome; we have woodland walks straight from the site as well as numerous others nearby.
Real ale pubs and local produce restaurants are also nearby as well as the very popular tourist areas of Matlock bath and Matlock, a former spar town. Take a cable car ride or explore the caverns all within 2 miles of the site. Matlock offers a major supermarket and quality shopping; the local village shop in Cromford has everything! There is a bus stop at the end of the lane to the site and an award-winning heritage train station on a branch line 1.5 miles down the valley.
The perfect location to explore the serenity and beauty of the Derbyshire Dales.
