Small Caravan & Motorhome Site on a Rural Farm – Just off the A66, Teesside
Enjoy a peaceful countryside stay with excellent road links at our small, friendly caravan and motorhome site, located on a rural working farm just off the A66 in Teesside. With space for up to 5 caravans or motorhomes, our site offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere while still being perfectly placed for travellers passing through or those looking to explore the North East.

The site is easily accessible and suitable for larger vehicles, with convenient links to the A66 as well as quick access to the A19 and A1, making it an ideal stopover location. Surrounded by open countryside, it provides a calm and scenic setting for both short stays and longer breaks.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of nearby attractions and activities. For nature lovers, there are local footpaths and quiet country lanes perfect for walking and cycling, as well as access to the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Riverside walks along the River Tees offer another relaxing way to explore the area.
The coast is also within easy reach, with popular destinations such as Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Redcar Beach, both ideal for a day out by the sea.

Closer to the site, visitors can explore Preston Park & Museum and Butterfly World, offering a mix of history, gardens, and family-friendly attractions. The nearby market town of Yarm provides a great selection of independent shops, cafés, and restaurants.

For something more active, the Tees Barrage International White Water Centre offers exciting water sports including rafting, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Dog owners will also appreciate nearby Coatham Woods, a peaceful woodland area ideal for walking and exercising pets.

Darlington is also within easy reach, with attractions including Hopetown Darlington, Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum, and South Park, as well as the impressive Raby Castle just a short drive away.

For food and drink, there are plenty of options nearby, including a range of pubs and restaurants in Yarm and Darlington. The local pub, The Derry, is located in the nearby village of Longnewton and is approximately a 20–25 minute walk from our farm in Elton, making it perfect for an evening meal or drink without needing to drive.

With its peaceful setting, excellent transport links, and wide range of nearby attractions, our site is an ideal base for travellers, walkers, cyclists, and anyone looking to explore Teesside and the wider North East.
